Background
This research is more directed towards religious
values than one collection of poems entitled Yang by Abdul Wahid B.S. And
connecting it in daily life that does not only contain all the things that are
related between humans and God but also human beings with each other and the
environment. With a simple and fairly short language, Abdul Wahid B.S revealed
an event through a poem which of course added poetic elements that would make
the readers more observant of the meaning implied in each word.
The Purpose
1.
To describe the
form of religious values in Abdul Wachid B.S’ set of poems entitled Yang.
2.
To describe the
poetic used to express religious values in Abdul Wahid B.S’ set of poems
entitled Yang.
Research Metods
The research method used in this study uses data collection techniques with observations
made by reading carefully and carefully. With the object of research is the book collection of poetry
Yang.
Results
1. The form of religious value in the collection of Yang's poetry is found in three forms of
relationships, namely:
a. Human Relations with God
The collection of Andi’s poetry books really dominates religious values that loom the relationship
between Man and The Creator. The researcher also revealed that the depiction of religious values is
actually the personal experience of Abdul Wahid B.S 'himself as the writer. One of the relationships
that reflects humans with God is in the poem "Rani yang Bertanya". Which contains the meaning that
in the poem Rani as an object as if asking for an answer from God.
b. Human Relations with the Environment and Society
This human relationship with the environment and society is found in one of the poems entitled
"Wonokromo", some phrases that show that adab is growing and preserved in the life of society in
Islam, one of which is greeting when passing through the tomb.
c. Human Relations with fellow humans
In the poem "Hujan Begitu Baik", there is a religious value that is established between a child and his
mother, this relationship is a human relationship.

Poetic
elements used to express religious values in Yang's poetry collection by Abdul
Wachid B.S, namely:
a. Diction
Dictions in Yang's collection of poetry are of two kinds, namely denotation and connotation.
b. Kias language
There are many kias used in the collection of Yang's poetry, one of them in the pusi "Hujan begitu
Baik" in the verse "rain is so good dancing on guava leaves" which resembles rain like humans who
can do dance moves.
c. Imagery
There are five images in the collection of Yang's poetry, namely motion, smell, hearing, palpation,
and feeling images.
d. Rhetoric Facility
There are two types of rhetoric, repetition and rhetorical means. The rhetoric of repetition is found
in the poem "Rani yang Bertanya". While the means of rhetoric in the form of rhetorical questions
one of which was found in the poem "Hujan Begitu Baik".
Conclusion
1. The religious value in Yang's collection of poems leads more to the relationship between
humans and God.
2. Poetic elements are more dominant in connotation meaning, more habits use personification
and images use more hearing. Whereas the means is more dominant to the means of repository
rhetoric.
Research strengths
1. This research is very careful because several words are examined in great detail even using
calculations
2. This study also presents several examples in everyday life
Lack of research
1. Lack of elaboration is more detailed than some material
